Notice to Customers

Flathead County Water District No. 101 has recently completed a comprehensive review of our bookkeeping and customer billing records covering the past two years. As part of this effort, the District worked through more than 2,600 invoices and their corresponding payments to reconcile our records and ensure they are accurate moving forward.

During this process, we identified some account balances or charges that may appear unusual or different from what customers have seen in the past. These adjustments are the result of correcting historical bookkeeping discrepancies and aligning our records with the information available to the District.

We understand that these changes may create confusion, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Our goal in undertaking this review was to bring the District’s financial records back into good order, improve transparency, and ensure accurate billing going forward.
